Joseph Angira, who works for Nairobi Youth with Peter Opollo, is looking to raise some money for his visa for a one year placement at a church in the UK. Please consider helping him achieve this.
URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP FROM JOSEPH ANGIRA
"Greetings! I hope you are doing great and you are well kept in His tender arms. A couple of months ago, I applied to a UK Charity called “Careforce” and I got an opportunity to serve as a volunteer in a church called St. Paul’s, an Anglican church in Addlestone, for a year. I have been busy doing fundraising for my visa and air ticket, through friends and well-wishers. On the 30th June, I received an email from the Care Force Director with the sponsorship number which confirms my stay in the UK for the one year programme and advising me to go ahead and start applying for my UK visa starting the 11th July. I am therefore writing to ask for your financial help. My main focus at the moment is the visa. The visa will cost me ksh.27,000 (or £190). I now have ksh.3,000 (or £21) and am still talking to friends and well-wishers to help me raise the remaining amount.
I am also looking to raise the money for the air ticket. The cheapest return ticket will cost me ksh.95,000 (£710).
Please keep me in your prayers. With every blessings in the Lord."
