Nairobi Youth is a young vibrant team of dedicated volunteers that share the love of Christ in schools and amongst the youth in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi.

With a range of different activities, the team engage with the youth to challenge them to consider questions about life...and to present to them a Christian lifestyle that would make them better citizens.

Nairobi is the capital of Kenya with an estimated population of 3 million. (Source Wiki). Nairobi is currently the 12th largest city in Africa. It is a place of contrasts as one of the most prominent cities in Africa politically and financially and yet there is also immense need and poverty. Many people live in extreme poverty and basic housing in slum areas (e.g. Kibera and Spring Valley).

This ministry is led by Peter Opolo, and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers; Joseph Angira, Caroline Awinja, Erick Omondi Otieno, Calvin Wamari, Philip Lodenyo and Maurice Omollo and by International Teams UK. Recently there have been many young people come to a faith in Christ.
Please consider how you can get involved by your prayer support, giving financially or volunteering your valuable time and skills via International Teams UK to further this important Christian ministry in Nairobi. You can contact one of the staff in Nairobi by clicking here if you would like to know more..
